Each kit is truly a work of art. Uneek is a true self striping hand dyed Superwash merino/ Nylon blend in vivid, striking colors.
If you are not familiar with Urth Yarns, the striping effect is regular, but in a unique way that gives projects a very special look, because in addition to striping, the colors also shade!
The Urth Yarns company dyes and prepares this soft, super wash wool in Turkey primarily by women. And yes, every skein of Urth Yarns plants a tree! In partnership with Trees for the Future, Urth Yarns is helping in their mission to provide families with tools and knowledge to plant trees in Africa.
