Kit - Corazona Shawl
Corazona by Nim Teasdale is a radiating expanding lace shawl with a hint of texture to add depth. As she explains “The name is an intersection my mind cooked up while I wasn’t paying attention - corona, the radiation around a bright light source, and corazon, the Spanish word for heart. I was reading about heart meditations as I knit, and wondering how it would be if the human heart could radiate love like a corona, or if the usually underrated impact of kindness could be made visible.. How would we do things differently?”
Note: The size of the shawl can be adjusted in several ways - made smaller by skipping some rows and/or using the early ending, or made larger by adding an extra wedge. The design suits lace to fingering yarn, in solid, semi-solid, gradient or subtle speckle varieties.
This kit included two skeins of Urth Harvest yarn (435 yards each) 100% superwash merino fingering weight and the pattern. The pattern will be purchased for you through Ravelry and provided electronically at no additional cost with the purchase of this kit. Please note that Urth yarn is shipped directly from the manufacturer in Turkey and can take up to ten days for delivery.
