Lykke (Norwegian for happiness) crafts their needles from strong birch wood, which produces a strong but light needle.
We have this set in a beautiful black leatherette case and a grey denim pouch.
We have received so many wonderful comments about these needles we wanted to share our favorite with you:

This interchangeable knitting needle set includes 12 pairs of 5” needles crafted from birchwood in sizes US 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 13, 15 and 17. The set includes 2 cords each in 24" and 32" and one cord in 40". (But shhhhhh . . . we tested our own set and it actually fits the other cords we have from Knit Picks and Knitters Pride). The set also includes 2 connectors, 4 keys and 8 stoppers.
Available with a Black or Gray case. Also now available in limited supply of Indigo and Umber.
